Mon Première Vignoble which translates to my first vineyard, comes from Canadian artist, Chantal Poulin. The painting radiates with colourful florals, lush vines and the serene Niagara landscape.
Poulin originally from Quebec, settled in Niagara-on-the-Lake and opened a gallery in a 19th century Georgian manor on the scenic Niagara River Parkway. It is during this time that Poulin created the pieces that hang on these walls.
Poulin’s impressionist landscapes launched her career 1978. She’s since shifted to expressionist still life’s and total abstraction. Durocher has since left Niagara-on-the-Lake and now resides in Costa Rica.
