Le Mont, St. Michael is an original painting from master impressionist Daniel J Izzard. This landscape depicts the tidal island and commune of Le Mont-Sainte-Michel in Brittany, France. The island lies one kilometre off of the coast, it is a UNESCO world heritage site and a historical monument now visited by 3 million a year.

Izzard was British born and moved to Canada after finding inspiration in ‘British Columbia’s natural beauty’. His inspiration was found on solo canoes trips in remote areas of Canada as well as from his trips to Europe. He is regarded as a master impressionist painter and received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Federation of Canadian Artists in 2006.
