THE AMALFI COAST

The Amalfi Coast is an original painting from master impressionist Daniel J Izzard. This landscape captures the beautiful Amalfi Coast in Southern Italy from the turquoise Tyrrhenian Sea.

Recognized as one of the most picturesque areas in Italy, the villages of the Amalfi Coast are built on steep cliffs. This painting in particular depicts the town of Amalfi and its bustling waterfront.

Izzard was British born and moved to Canada after finding inspiration in ‘British Columbia’s natural beauty’. His inspiration was found on solo canoes trips in remote areas of Canada as well as from his trips to Europe. He is regarded as a master impressionist painter and received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Federation of Canadian Artists in 2006.
