Villefranche #2 is an original artwork from Daniel J. Izzard depicting the marina in the bay of Villefranche-sur-Mer a resort town in the French Riviera. The Bay of Villfranche is recognized as one of the most beautiful bays in the world with a sandy 1 km beach. It’s picturesque village with orange tinted facades sits above along the cliffside.

Daniel J. Izzard was British born and moved to Canada after finding inspiration in ‘British Columbia’s natural beauty’. His inspiration was found on solo canoes trips in remote areas of Canada as well as from his trips to Europe. He is regarded as a master impressionist painter and received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Federation of Canadian Artists in 2006.
