William Lamb was The Right and Honourable, The Viscount Melbourne. He served twice as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and was also the Home Secretary. He is best known for coaching and mentoring Queen Victoria in the ways of politics.
Melbourne, Australia’s second largest city, was named in his honour.
