King Side Road depicts a wintry side road bathed in sunlight. The piece comes from A.J. Casson, a renowned artist who was a member of the Canadian group of artists known as the Group of Seven. King Side Road is a limited edition, watercolour print autographed by the artist.
Casson is best known for his depictions of landscapes, forests and farms of southern Ontario, and for being the youngest member of the Group of Seven. His art distills Ontario's farmland and forests into highly finished, carefully composed designs, with a stillness that sometimes seems ominous. (Source, Group of Seven).
