Niagara Vines, showcases the beauty of Niagara-on-the-Lake vineyards and connects diners of The Cannery with the wine country that surrounds. With lush green vines, Inniskillin winery and the water tower in the backdrop, this original painting  by Québec artist Chantal Poulin, is just one of many Niagara landscapes that hang throughout The Cannery.

Poulin and her husband, Eric Durocher, settled in Niagara-on-the-Lake and opened a gallery in a 19th century Georgian manor on the scenic Niagara River Parkway. It is during this time that Poulin created the pieces that hang on these walls.

Poulin’s impressionist landscapes launched her career 1978. She’s since shifted to expressionist still life’s and total abstraction. Durocher has since left Niagara-on-the-Lake and now resides in Costa Rica.
