SNOW MOUNTAIN

Snow Mountain is an original painting from Walasse Ting. Painted using ink and acrylic paint on rice paper, the painting depicts a snowy mountain landscape complete with small villages and the oddly-shaped pine trees that characterize China’s mountainous countryside.

Walasse Ting was a Chinese-American painter, graphic artist, sculptor and poet. Ting’s unforgettable paintings “fuse dancing brushstrokes with vivacious neon colours. His subjects are joyful: parrots, flowers, cats and beautiful women in bright pinks, oranges, blues and greens.” (Source: Catto Gallery)

Ting is an internationally renowned artist whose work can be found in permanent international collections such as the Guggenheim Museum, the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Tate Modern Museum in London, Centre Pompidou in Paris, and the Hong Kong Museum of Art.
