In this original artwork from Canadian artist, Chantal Poulin, the sun sets on a beautiful day in Niagara-on-the-Lake illuminating a brilliant red hue over the vineyard’s vines.
Poulin originally from Quebec, settled in Niagara-on-the-Lake and opened a gallery in a 19th century Georgian manor on the scenic Niagara River Parkway. It is during this time that Poulin created the pieces that hang on these walls.
Poulin’s impressionist landscapes launched her career 1978. She’s since shifted to expressionist still life’s and total abstraction. Durocher has since left Niagara-on-the-Lake and now resides in Costa Rica.
