In this original artwork from French-Canadian artist, Chantal Poulin, sprawling vineyards and rolling hills make-up the vineyard of her dreams. This landscape differs from most of the other vineyard pieces in The Cannery with a rolling terroir not seen in Niagara-on-the-Lake
Poulin originally from Quebec, settled in Niagara-on-the-Lake and opened a gallery in a 19th century Georgian manor on the scenic Niagara River Parkway. It is during this time that Poulin created the pieces that hang on these walls.
Poulin’s impressionist landscapes launched her career 1978. She’s since shifted to expressionist still life’s and total abstraction. Durocher has since left Niagara-on-the-Lake and now resides in Costa Rica.
