BLEACHED LOGS, PACIFIC RIM NATIONAL PARK

In Bleached Logs, Pacific Rim National Park, British/Canadian artist, Daniel J. Izzard paints the landscape of one of British Columbia’s most famous National parks. The renowned Impressionist painter captures the remnants of the Pacific ocean’s fierce storms, sun bleached logs.


Pacific Rim National Park Reserve lies along the west coast of Vancouver Island. It is best known for long sandy beaches and temperate rainforests.  


Izzard is British born and moved to Canada after finding inspiration in ‘British Columbia’s natural beauty. His inspiration was found on solo canoes trips in remote areas of Canada as well as from his trips abroad. He is regarded as a master impressionist painter and received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Federation of Canadian Artists in 2006.
